The title of the book refers to Marcel Proust’s ‘Remembrance of Things passed’ in which the narrator puts a piece of Madeleine in his mouth, the taste of which activates a series of memories the cause of which he does not know initially. I imagine myself with the madeleine in my mouth and I think and connect what follows.
